If you’re looking for workwear clothing for your staff, then you might have already established that you need polo shirts, jackets, and trousers, but what else might your staff need to allow them to work safely and stay warm and dry? Here’s what you need to consider1. A body warmer is ideal if your staff need to have full mobility of their arms, but are working outside. In addition, you might want to use a biodywarmer as another layer when it is extremely cold.2. Hoodies can be worn when it’s cold too, and might be a way of making your staff seem less formal. Perhaps if your staff work with young people, then they’ll need to fit in with them, and a hooded sweatshirt might be just what’s needed.3. Coveralls are ideal for protecting clothing against paint or dirt. If you’re a painting and decorating firm, or a garage, then you’ll want to make sure that your staff look like they know what they are doing, and yet are presentable.4. Depending on what your staff do, they might need aprons. As well as catering staff, some shop staff, bar staff and restaurant workers might also benefit from an apron too.5. Having the right chefs clothing is essential if you’re in the catering industry. You’ll need tunics, trousers and hats too, so that you can stay safe in the kitchen, and look as good as your food does.6. Your staff might benefit from hats if they work outdoors. Whether they need baseball caps, knitted hats or hard hats, you’ll want to make sure that your staff stay warm and safe, and that your company logo and contact details can be easily seen.7. You might need bags for your staff so that they can carry their essentials with them whilst working. Whether they need to carry a computer, or tools, you’ll want to make sure that the bag you choose is appropriate.8. High visibility clothing is a legal requirement in some situations, so you’ll need to make sure that your staff have all the reflective jackets and trousers they need in order to be able to do their jobs.9. Your staff might also need work boots, rather than formal shoes or trainers. By choosing boots that offer plenty of protection, whether for the ankle, or against chemicals, your staff will have the footwear they need, no matter what industry they work in.10. If you often work in the rain, or have guests that need to visit your building or perhaps your construction site, then umbrellas might come in useful, when it rains. You might be an architect, or surveyor spending a lot of time outside, or maybe you just want to keep visitors to your conference dry.Now you know more about what additional corporate clothing you and your staff might need, then you’ll be able to ensure that you can all work safely and effectively to be more productive.
I have been working as a contractor and new home builder for quite some time and it seems like every person that I have ever met has always dreamed of building their own home. If you’re reading this article, there is a really good chance that you fall into this category and have either built your own home or are interested in learning how to build one.Let me give you a heads up, whether you’ve been through the process once, twice or this is your first time. Be prepared for anything to happen. I have seen the best plans, by the best architects, engineers and contractors suffer as they run into problems that they had never even thought of.This isn’t like going to the store and buying a pre-assembled product, or even one that requires assembly. The list is too long for me to tell you, every single thing that has happened to me, or some story that another home builder has told me, throughout the years, about some sort of difficulty that he had while building a new home.I have seen it rain for days, causing the plywood to fall apart and need to be removed and replaced, there’s also been times during the summer, when it has gotten so hot, that you could hardly pick up your tools or operate the heavy equipment. I have seen problems between professionals who couldn’t get along, fights between workers, fire sprinklers go off and saturate the entire home with water and almost everything else, that you wouldn’t think would happen, but when it actually does, you’re not that surprised. It would be just another thing that happened. So, don’t plan on everything, working out, be prepared and be ready to do battle with anything that happens along your home building adventure.
